When you successfully complete the NFEI Personal Training course, you can apply to register with REPs Ireland as a Personal Trainer, giving employers, gyms and clients confidence that your training meets recognised industry standards.

Recognition beyond Ireland

Your qualification can also support opportunities outside Ireland.

REPs Ireland is connected with international exercise professional registers through EREPs and ICREPs. These organisations help exercise professionals transfer their registration between countries, where the relevant national register accepts it. REPs Ireland explains that members moving abroad can request a Letter of Portability to help with this process.

That means your course is not just an in-house certificate. It is a qualification designed to help you start your career in Ireland, with potential pathways to work abroad in other countries too.
